L'Oranger · Consulting

Operational consulting.

Supply chain, strategy, executive coaching — by a leader who knew failure before turning it into a method.

Fifteen years structuring operations in agri-food. Five years experiencing entrepreneurial failure from the inside. Ten years helping leaders avoid the same detours. Today, independent and selective consulting, built around three service lines, for two kinds of leaders.

Who is it for?

Two entry points. The same foundation.

Depending on your situation, the approach differs. The foundation never does: real operational experience, uncompromising clarity, and a clear framework.

01 · Industrial SME

You run an industrial SME.

Agri-food, food processing, distribution, logistics, industrial supply chain. From 10 to 250 employees. You're looking for an outside perspective backed by genuine field experience — not a consultant who has never run an operation.

Typical cases
  • You want to audit your supply chain before scaling up.
  • Your operations seize up at the very moment you should be accelerating.
  • You're restructuring your teams after a period of disorderly growth.

02 · Independent entrepreneur

You're an independent entrepreneur.

Solo or with a small team. Structuring your business, going through a transition, or working your way out of a deadlock. You're looking for someone who has genuinely been through what you're living — not a theoretical coach.

Typical cases
  • You're validating an idea and preparing an honest business plan.
  • You're going through a phase of doubt, blockage or transition.
  • You lack perspective and need a demanding outside eye.

Three service lines

Depending on what you're trying to achieve.

No imposed format. The right tool for the right problem.

01

Supply chain & operations

Industrial SME / agri-food

Audit, structuring, optimisation of operations. KPI definition, team alignment, process design. With particular attention to the moment of scaling — the one where the machine seizes up.

Typical engagements
  • Supply chain audit & recommendations
  • Logistics organisation re-design
  • Interim supply chain director
02

Strategy & growth

SMEs & entrepreneurs

Building the strategic plan, consolidating the business plan, supporting the key trade-offs: financing, partnership, internationalisation. No corporate slides. Concrete, reasoned, executable choices.

Typical engagements
  • 3-year strategic plan
  • Operational due diligence
  • Fundraising support
03

Executive coaching

Leaders in transition

One-to-one support at the decisive moments: launch, transition, deadlock, handover. Diagnosis-then-engagement format, in person or asynchronous. For those who want an experienced sparring partner, not a guru.

Typical engagements
  • Monthly coaching over 3 months
  • Asynchronous sparring by email
  • One-off workshop or flash diagnosis
Beyond consulting

Experience, set in print.

The same foundation — lived operational experience — carried over into writing. To read before, during, or alongside an engagement.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

First conversation

30 minutes by video or phone. We look at your situation and assess whether an engagement makes sense. If it doesn't, I point you elsewhere.

Free · No commitment
02

Diagnosis

In-depth analysis of your situation, with a deliverable framing the issues and the options. Minimal commitment to validate the next step.

Short package
03

Engagement

An engagement scoped on the basis of the diagnosis. Duration, deliverables, terms, price — all spelled out before signing.

Bespoke
04

Delivery & follow-up

Delivery of the work, milestones, adjustments. Follow-up can continue in light asynchronous mode after the main engagement.

Follow-up 3-6 months

Not a consultant. An operator turned consultant.

Fifteen years in agri-food across France, Spain and Portugal. Leadership roles in supply chain and operations. MBA and Master's in Supply Chain Management at ENEB Barcelona.

Before that, two companies founded in Spain, then lost over five years. An experience that now serves as the foundation for the consulting — because you advise better once you've paid to understand.

Quadrilingual: French, Spanish, Portuguese, English. Engagements possible in all four languages, with no interpreter and no nuance lost.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
The fee depends on the nature of the engagement, the expected deliverable and the duration. A precise quote is always provided after the diagnosis, never before. As an order of magnitude: a short coaching programme starts around €1,200, a supply chain audit around €3,500. The first 30-minute conversation is always free.
How does billing work?
Quote signed upfront, billing at the start of the engagement or in stages depending on duration. No payment before signature and explicit commitment from both sides. Settlement by bank transfer or direct debit.
Which sectors do you work in?
Core focus: agri-food, food processing, distribution, logistics, industrial supply chain. For executive coaching and strategy, I work across any sector where the problem is transposable — my tools aren't specific to one field. If your situation is far from my core focus, I'll say so in the first conversation.
Remote or on site?
Both work. Most coaching and strategy engagements run remotely or hybrid — more availability, and a lower cost for you. For operational audits, an on-site portion is usually needed to observe the flows.
Which languages do you speak?
French, Spanish, Portuguese, English — I work interchangeably in these four languages, spoken and written. Particularly useful for multi-country organisations across Europe and Latin America.
How soon can an engagement start?
The first conversation can usually be scheduled within a week. The actual start depends on the calendar and complexity — count on 2 to 6 weeks depending on scope. For operational emergencies (crisis, critical transition), I can mobilise faster, case by case.
